Persian Care Centre (PCC) was established in 2001 and is both a registered charity and a registered company. For over 25 years, PCC has been dedicated to supporting Persian-speaking elderly refugees and political migrants.
The Centre provides a range of services designed to empower individuals, including physical health programmes, support in understanding the connection between mental and physical wellbeing, guidance on accessing welfare benefits, and initiatives that promote independence and healthy ageing.
Based in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, PCC also works across neighbouring boroughs including Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing, and Brent. Its mission is to reduce social isolation, loneliness, anxiety, and depression by helping individuals integrate into their communities, ultimately improving their overall quality of life.
Description of some events we have had in the past:
- Christmas & Yalda Event: This event was held in December 2025 to celebrate the joy and warmth of Christmas and Yalda with our elders, bringing them together for a festive and cultural gathering.
- Nowruz Celebration: This event marks the ancient Persian New Year, celebrating renewal, hope, and the start of spring through traditional customs, food, music, and social activities.
- Alternative Medicine Professionals: This event was organised in response to the traumatic Grenfell Tower fire in 2017, to support affected residents through awareness, healing approaches, and access to complementary therapies as part of wider community sensitisation and compensation efforts.
